PhD in Chemical Sciences and currently assitant professor of the Madrid Autonomous University. I have previously worked as a teacher and researcher at different public and private universities (Pontificia Comillas-ICAI University , Alfonso X “El Sabio”University, Madrid Complutense University). In addition to an intense teaching activity (about 7000 hours), I have participated in 14 research projects, both national and international, being a principal researcher of two of them. I have published approximately 66 scientific articles in high impact index journals (Angew, Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Materials, Chem. Commun., Chem. Eur. J., Cryst. Growth and Des., Chem. Adv. Funt. Mater.). I am a research associate at Inorg. Advanced Research in Chemical Sciences (IAdChem).

I collaborate with the research group led by Felix Zamora, (Autonomous University of Madrid, www.nanomater.es). I also collaborate with researchers from other Spanish universities such as Oscar Castillo, from the Basque Country university (with whom I co-direct research projects at a national level, such as: BIOINSPIRED METAL-ORGANIC AND INTELLIGENT MATERIALS WITH STIMULUS-RESPONSE BEHAVIOR. : MAT2016-75883-C2-2-P) or with the La Laguna university and research centers (CSIC of Zaragoza, Santiago de Compostela or Madrid). My scientific field is based on nanomaterials, mainly investigating the design of new intelligent materials based on coordination polymers (areas: Chemistry Inorganic, nanomaterials).  I have acted as an evaluator for different research  journals such as Inorg. Related with management work, I have participated as a member of the validation commission corresponding to the Environmental Sciences degree, as well as a member of the External Practices and I have coordinated “Sustainable Chemistry” and ” External Practices “subjets  in the Chemistry Degree.

I have also collaborated in innovation projects and improvement of teaching quality, and coordinated for 6 years scientific dissemination projects sponsored by the Spanish Foundation of Science and Technology and by the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry (territorial section of Madrid), conducting didactic workshops in different educational centers (Know Science Today opens the doors of Tomorrow, www.nanomadrid.es), I have also held in Chemistry Days for high school students and won the Third Prize of the 1st Edition of the “Science in School” Contest of the UAM, and the 2015 Salvador Senent Prize for the work entitled “Cold light. A light bulb inside the refrigerator ?. From the Group of Didactics and History of Physics and Chemistry. Royal Spanish Societies of Chemistry and Physics.
